What's the endgame? Neuraspace's software combines data from public catalogs, ground-based telescope partners, and its own optical sensors to track satellites. It aims to give operators near-real-time orbital data, collision alerts, and maneuver guidance, while offering government users anomaly detection, threat assessment, and autonomous decision-making tools.
Where the money goes: The public funding will support NeuraspaceDEF, an AI-powered, dual-use SDA platform for government and defense users. Proceeds will also complement existing optical telescopes with radar sensors as part of a multi-source data strategy.

Neuraspace has partnered with the Portuguese Air Force, hosting a telescope at Beja Air Base, and was selected for the 2026 cohort of NATO's Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic. It said it was chosen as prime contractor by a European defense ministry, with details due in September.
