The hire: Hicks will lead Sales Talent Group's next chapter, bringing more than 25 years of experience building and transforming revenue organizations. She joins a team whose reputation was built by John O'Brien.
Why now? CEO Betsy Robinson said clients are no longer asking the firm to solve individual hiring challenges. "They're asking us to help them navigate transformation," she said, pointing to artificial intelligence, shifting buyer behavior, and digital transformation as forces reshaping how companies grow.
The signal: The deal reflects a bet that recruiting and business strategy are converging. As Hicks put it: "The hardest part isn't finding talent anymore. It's understanding the business the organization is trying to build."
