Scanner lands angel backing from CISO syndicate SVCI

Try Dealroom → (SVCI), an angel syndicate made up entirely of CISOs who run security programmes at large organisations. The investment amount was not disclosed.

Why it matters Several SVCI members were already running Scanner against real workloads before investing. Scanner lets security teams search petabytes of logs in S3 in seconds and run continuous threat detections across the full stream; the company says AI agents already generate more than 80% of its query volume as security operations turn increasingly agentic.

The backing follows Scanner's $22M Series A led by Sequoia in March 2026.
