Printr banks $2M seed extension for cross-chain token launchpad

What's the deal?

Printr , a Lisbon-based cryptocurrency launchpad, raised a $2 million seed extension at a $12.5 million valuation, announced in October 2025. Mantle EcoFund, Mirana Ventures , L1 Digital , Sfermion , and Flowdesk backed the round, which brings total funding to $4.5 million after a $2.5 million pre-seed.

What's the endgame?

Printr bills itself as the first truly cross-chain token launchpad, letting projects launch tokens simultaneously across multiple blockchains. Its V2 iteration went live with support for eight networks: Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Mantle, Ethereum, Monad, Avalanche, and Arbitrum.

Why now?

Printr is the first project incubated by Bybit Venture Studio, the exchange's incubation arm. That status arrived alongside partnerships with Mantle and Byreal, Bybit's Solana-based decentralized exchange effort, centred on routing liquidity so tokens launched on Printr can find buyers.

The V2 release also introduced five configurable fee models, adjustable liquidity parameters, and what the company calls "anti-vamp" protection — a feature aimed at rug pulls, where creators drain liquidity pools and disappear.

What's notable?

The pre-seed round was led by Axelar Foundation and Sui Foundation, joined by Sfermion, Draper Dragon, and Bitscale Capital. That alignment is strategic: Printr's architecture relies on Axelar and LayerZero for cross-chain messaging, so those foundations bring operational fit, not just capital.

What could go wrong?

Foundation investments often carry mixed motives — supporting a project that drives traffic across your network is good business even if it never finds traction. And whether technical guardrails can prevent bad actors remains an open question given the history of crypto launchpads.

The signal:

Incumbents like Pump.fun on Solana and Doppler on Base have built moats around single ecosystems, betting specialisation beats generalisation. Printr is wagering the opposite — that creators want optionality and communities don't want to be locked into one chain's tooling. Its $2 million extension lands near the middle of the pack for round size, a modest bet on fragmentation as a solvable problem.
