Ferretti-led investor group makes €115M binding offer for Aeffe
An investor pool that includes the Ferretti family — Aeffe's current owner — has submitted a binding offer worth about €115 million to relaunch the Italian fashion group. The group also comprises state agency Invitalia , investment fund Oxy, and a Chinese manufacturing partner.
The offer follows a meeting at Italy's Ministry of Business and Made-in-Italy (MIMIT), where the parties presented their plan. A follow-up meeting is set for September 28, when the investors will lay out their business plan for Aeffe.
The investors pledge to preserve and continue to exploit Aeffe's long-established brands, maintain manufacturing activity, and safeguard jobs.
As part of the deal, Aeffe's Chinese manufacturing partner would receive the exclusive license for the Moschino label in China, aiming to consolidate the brand's presence there and drive commercial growth.
The deal is set to close by the end of 2026, pending checks and final contractual details. Until then, terms remain subject to change.
The tie-up brings together family ownership, state backing, and a Chinese partner — a structure that points to how Italy is seeking to protect its heritage fashion labels while chasing growth in China.
