Its Takeoff Runtime handles work spanning days to weeks — with lead-level memory, decision logic and embedded compliance guardrails — with early deployments in consumer lending and mortgage workflows. In less than a year the company went from zero revenue to multiple seven-figure contracts, and had raised a $15M round from Matrix and Lachy Groom in June 2026.
Why it matters. The deal continues Sierra's rapid M&A run — following Opera Tech, Receptive AI and Fragment earlier in 2026 — as it broadens beyond customer-service agents into autonomous, long-horizon work. Takeoff's team joins Sierra.
