Neo Group lands ₹350 crore from Peak XV, pushing its two-round haul to ₹900 crore
What's the deal? Indian wealth and asset management firm Neo Group has signed definitive agreements to raise about ₹350 crore (≈$36 million) in a late-stage round led by existing investor Peak XV Partners. The transaction is expected to close shortly, the company said on July 16.
Why now? The round comes weeks after Neo Group secured ₹550 crore from TVS Capital, taking the total raised from the two institutional investors to around ₹900 crore.
What's the endgame? The fresh capital will fund expansion, with investments in technology, talent acquisition, and new product capabilities.
Neo Group serves family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, high-net-worth individuals, institutions, and corporates. Its offerings span wealth management, alternative assets, private markets, fixed income, global investments, insurance, and estate planning.
The firm says it holds nearly ₹3,000 crore in equity capital, manages around ₹1.3 lakh crore in client assets, and operates in more than 30 cities with over 850 professionals, including more than 150 senior wealth advisors. It also has a presence in the United States.
Why it matters: Peak XV, which backed Neo Group at an early stage, said it is increasing its commitment, citing confidence in the growth potential of India's wealth management industry.
"Our objective has always been to build an enduring institution with strong governance, disciplined capital allocation and client-first alignment," said Nitin Jain, chairman and managing director. "This fundraise gives us the capital and long-term partnership to keep building for the future."
The signal: At roughly $36 million, the round sits above the midpoint for deals of its kind — a mid-sized bet that reflects sustained investor appetite for India's expanding market of wealthy clients.
