Wolter acquires 65-year-old Delta Materials Handling to enter US Mid-South

Try Dealroom →, a Memphis-based dealer operating for more than 65 years. The deal, part of Wolter's growth plans, gives it a foothold in the US Mid-South. Terms were not disclosed.

What does Delta bring? Delta serves customers across Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee; Tupelo, Mississippi; and Jonesboro, Arkansas. It is one of the longest-standing Clark dealers and also carries the Bobcat, Linde, Bendi, Drexel, and Princeton ranges.

Why it matters: Wolter is expanding its regional footprint, and Delta's decades-long presence offers an established customer base and reputation. "Delta is a natural fit as we continue to grow," says Wolter chief executive officer Jerry Weidmann, adding that its "team, reputation and commitment to customers align closely with Wolter."
