Gridiron Capital backs Oracle cloud specialist Centroid in final Fund V deal

What does Centroid do? Founded in 1997, it provides Oracle-focused consulting and managed services for OCI to enterprise and mid-market clients, largely on a recurring basis. It has a long-standing partnership with Oracle and positions itself as an enabler of OCI adoption.

Why now? Centroid is the final platform investment in Gridiron's Fund V, which is now fully deployed. Gridiron pointed to the "large and growing OCI market" and rising enterprise demand for specialised Oracle expertise as the drivers behind the bet.

What's the endgame? Gridiron plans to grow Centroid both organically and through acquisitions, drawing on its IT services expertise to expand the company's sales function and broaden its solutions across the verticals it serves.
