Garanti BBVA secures approval for $60M bond issuance

What's the deal? Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has won approval from Turkey's Capital Markets Board to issue $60 million in bonds on foreign markets.

The bank issued two US dollar-denominated series of $30 million each. The first, maturing July 5, 2027, carries ISIN XS3427517332; the second, maturing July 6, 2027, carries ISIN XS3427416576.

Why now? The issuance falls under Garanti's Global Medium Term Notes (GMTN) programme, established in April 2013 to raise borrowing across various currencies, series, and maturities.

The two series were issued simultaneously, signalling steady access to international debt markets.
