Samepage launches Signals and raises $4.85M seed to push intelligence to product teams

What's the deal?

Samepage has launched Samepage Signals, an AI tool that surfaces insights for product leaders, alongside $4.85 million in seed funding.

The round drew backing from Craft Ventures, Freestyle Capital, Glasswing Ventures, and angel investors including Justin Kan and Matt Mullenweg .

Signals connects to more than 35 data sources — including Jira, Linear, Slack, Notion, Gong, and Salesforce — and proactively pushes relevant information to users.

The tool builds a dynamic profile of what each leader cares about, then flags feature ideas from sales calls, competitor moves, and shipping risks.

Why now?

Product development is accelerating, but the way leaders stay informed remains manual, said chief executive officer and co-founder Sahil Jain.

"Information should be a push, not a pull," he said. Samepage tested Signals in beta with hundreds of product leaders before opening it to the public.

The founding team — Jain, Jason Wu, and Paul Wicker — previously built AdStage together for over eight years before its acquisition by TapClicks.

What could go wrong?

Signals depends on deep integrations across dozens of tools, raising questions around data privacy and reliability.

It also enters a crowded field of AI assistants racing to win over the same overloaded knowledge workers.

The signal:

The repeat backing from Craft Ventures and Freestyle Capital — both of whom funded the founders' previous venture AdStage before its TapClicks acquisition — signals investor conviction in the team over the product itself, a familiar pattern for early-stage bets on proven operators. With angels like Justin Kan and Matt Mullenweg also on the cap table, Samepage is leaning on credibility as much as technology to carve out space in the crowded AI assistant market.
