Speedioo raises ₹10 crore seed round led by Atomic Capital

What's the deal? SpeediooDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an Indian omnichannel platform for buying and selling used two-wheelers, has raised ₹10 crore ($1.18M) in a seed funding round led by Atomic CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The startup plans to use the capital to build an AI-native technology stack, expand into new cities, deepen partnerships with original equipment manufacturers, and scale its dealer and retail network.

Founded by Sagar Potphode and Ajit Deshmukh, Speedioo has crossed ₹30 crore in gross merchandise value and sold over 4,000 vehicles in the year to June 2026. It currently works with more than 200 dealer partners across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune.

Why now? India's used two-wheeler market is estimated at around $28 billion — roughly 1.5 times the size of the new two-wheeler market. Yet there is no dominant organised player in the space.

"Despite the scale of the opportunity, there is no clear winner today, no 'Spinny for bikes', and the rapid electrification of two-wheelers opens up an entirely new whitespace for organised, tech-led players," said Apoorv Gautam, founder and managing partner at Atomic Capital.

Speedioo has grown more than fivefold over the 12 months to June 2026 while remaining EBITDA-positive and cashflow-positive — a rare feat for an early-stage Indian startup.

What could go wrong? The used two-wheeler segment is deeply fragmented and dominated by informal dealers. Convincing consumers to shift to a platform model requires building trust at scale, which demands significant marketing spend and operational consistency across cities. Expanding into three to four new cities while maintaining unit economics will test the startup's playbook.

The $1.18M raise is also modest relative to Speedioo's ambition of crossing ₹100 crore in annual recurring revenue within 12–18 months. It will likely need to raise again soon.

The signal: India's massive unorganised vehicle resale market is attracting the same kind of tech-led consolidation that transformed the used car segment through players like Spinny and Cars24. Two-wheelers — the primary mode of personal transport for hundreds of millions of Indians — represent an even larger opportunity. As electrification accelerates, a flood of petrol two-wheelers entering the resale market could further expand the addressable opportunity for organised platforms like Speedioo.
