Tartisan Nickel closes $600K flow-through financing for Ontario nickel project

What's the deal? Tartisan Nickel Corp., a Canadian critical minerals explorer listed on the CSE, has closed a second tranche of flow-through financing worth $600,000. The company issued shares at $0.32 each and paid a 6% cash commission plus 112,500 broker warrants to eligible agents.

The proceeds will fund exploration and development at Tartisan's Kenbridge Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project near Sioux Narrows in northwestern Ontario.

Why now? The company said it plans to advance its spring work programme at Kenbridge shortly. Flow-through shares let investors claim tax deductions on eligible Canadian Exploration Expenses, making them a common fundraising tool for junior miners heading into field season.

What could go wrong? Tartisan remains an early-stage explorer with no production revenue. Junior mining financings at this scale are modest, and there is no guarantee that exploration spending will yield commercially viable results. The company currently has roughly 158 million shares outstanding, so further dilution is a risk investors should watch.

The signal: Canada's push to secure domestic critical mineral supply chains — nickel, copper, and cobalt in particular — continues to draw capital into Ontario's mining sector. Even small-cap explorers like Tartisan are tapping flow-through financing to keep drill programmes moving, a sign that investor appetite for battery-metal exposure persists despite volatile commodity prices.
