ENI Minds raises Series A from Sigma Capital and Blockwall to build on-chain AI agent OS
What's the deal? Hong Kong-based ENI Minds has completed back-to-back seed and Series A funding rounds within six months. The seed round closed in November 2025 with backing from GD1 Crypto and Interplay Blockchain Fund. The Series A followed in April 2026, led by Sigma CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. The startup is building what it calls an "Agent-native Interaction OS" — infrastructure designed to give AI agents verifiable identities, autonomous coordination, and the ability to execute real economic transactions on-chain. It has partnered with ENI Network, UBOX, and Claw Intelligence for verifiable execution, identity management, and data intelligence.
Why now? The fundraise comes as AI agent technology matures and blockchain infrastructure grows more capable. Industry observers see a gap: while generative AI has spawned a wave of agent-based products, the underlying systems that let those agents operate independently on-chain remain underdeveloped. ENI Minds is betting it can become critical plumbing for that emerging layer.
"AI has greatly lowered the barrier to innovation," the company's founder said. "ENI Minds' mission is to provide these Agents with a secure, trustworthy, and high-performance on-chain environment, enabling them to truly participate independently in economic activities."
What could go wrong? The concept of autonomous AI agents transacting on blockchain is still largely unproven at scale. Regulatory uncertainty around both AI and crypto could complicate deployment, particularly as governments worldwide tighten oversight of digital assets and automated decision-making.
The company also faces the challenge of converting technical ambition into real adoption. Without disclosed revenue, user metrics, or funding amounts, it is difficult to assess how far along ENI Minds truly is.
The signal: ENI Minds sits at the intersection of two powerful trends — AI agents and blockchain — and represents a growing thesis among crypto investors: that agents will need their own economic identity layer to function in decentralised systems. If that thesis holds, infrastructure plays like this could become foundational. If not, they risk being solutions in search of a problem.
The funds will go toward core product development, multi-agent collaboration features, and on-chain analytics and behaviour-tagging systems.
