NestAI Raises €100 Million and Partners with Nokia to Advance Physical-AI Systems

NestAI, a Finnish startup developing “physical AI” technologies, has raised €100 million in a round led by NokiaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Finnish state investor Tesi. The funding will accelerate the company’s work on autonomous systems that combine embedded AI, sensors and robotics for applications in defence, critical infrastructure and industrial automation.

The investment accompanies a new strategic partnership between NestAI and Nokia. Under the agreement, NestAI will develop physical-AI capabilities that can be deployed in the field, while Nokia will provide secure connectivity, network infrastructure and its experience working with mission-critical customers.

The collaboration is intended to support the development of autonomous and semi-autonomous systems for tasks such as inspection, surveillance, logistics and operational decision-making.

NestAI positions itself as a specialist in AI systems that operate outside traditional data-centre environments. Its focus is on models and software that run directly on machines and edge devices, enabling autonomy in settings where connectivity may be limited or conditions unpredictable.
