BECO Capital Raises $370 Million to Strengthen Gulf Startup Ecosystem

BECO Capital has closed $370 million across two new funds, reflecting the firm’s ambition to provide capital across the full company journey in the Gulf.

The funding is split between BECO Fund IV, a $120 million vehicle for early-stage investments, and a $250 million Growth Fund targeting Series B through pre-IPO companies. The latter seeks to fill a gap in regional scale-up financing, with average cheques of around $20 million.

Founded in 2012, BECO now manages more than $820 million in assets. Its portfolio spans fintech, proptech, construction technology, consumer and retail solutions, and AI software. The firm has recorded nine exits, including two unicorns.

BECO’s focus remains on the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where it sees the deepest pools of entrepreneurial talent. By investing across stages, the firm aims to offer founders continuity of support without relying exclusively on international backers.
