EliseAI Raises $250M to Expand Vertical AI in Healthcare and Housing

EliseAI, a New York-based AI automation startup, has raised $250 million in a Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and Sapphire Ventures. The financing doubles the company’s valuation to over $2.2 billion and comes just months after EliseAI surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue.

Founded in 2020, EliseAI has focused on building AI tools tailored to specific industries, starting with healthcare and housing. Its platform automates complex administrative and operational tasks that traditionally consume time and resources, allowing organizations to streamline processes without adding headcount. This vertical AI approach—solving industry-specific problems rather than offering general-purpose models—has resonated with investors and clients alike.

The new capital will fund product development and accelerate hiring, with plans to double its workforce of roughly 300 employees across New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. EliseAI’s strategy underscores a broader trend in AI: companies that can deeply integrate technology into high-value, real-world workflows—especially in sectors like healthcare—are increasingly attracting significant investor attention.

For EliseAI, the combination of strong revenue growth, a clearly defined vertical strategy, and expansion into critical industries positions it as a company to watch in the evolving landscape of enterprise AI.
