Verification and testing for AI agent actions.

ScopeHaven is a testing framework that verifies what AI agents actually do, not what they claim to do. Engineering leads define the actions their agent must never take, and ScopeHaven runs tests against a local copy of the client's application to check the agent stays within its authorised permissions.
As teams hand AI agents control over sensitive operations like refunds, account access and financial transactions, the cost of an agent doing the wrong thing is no longer theoretical. ScopeHaven is betting that verification and release gating become non-negotiable before agents touch production systems.
Founded in 2026 in Toronto by Yusef Syed, the company targets a specific failure mode: agents issuing unauthorised refunds or pulling the wrong customer's data. Its answer is to verify actual behaviour rather than trusting an agent's self-report.
It's early days and a solo founder, but the product reflects a clear point of view: keep testing on the client's own machine so data never leaves their infrastructure, and hold faulty releases when actions don't match the rules. The company says privacy and evidence-backed reports are built into the core design.
