MedTroX Solutions makes MedTroX Companion, an information portal that tells patients what to prepare, what to bring and what will happen before, during and after an examination, procedure or hospital stay. Patients open it with a one-time code on their own device, with no app, account or password.
The company says the portal cuts avoidable enquiries and cancelled appointments, which reduces the load on hospital staff. The preparation content is released by experts, versioned and kept up to date, and the service is hosted in the EU with GDPR-aligned health-data protection and documented WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility.
MedTroX Solutions is based in Graz and was founded in 2026. It sells Companion by subscription to hospitals, clinics and other healthcare institutions, mainly in German-speaking Europe.
The company says its three founders combine intensive-care nursing, health-law consulting and long experience building security-critical enterprise systems. Dealroom lists two of them: Rolf Reiterer, who studied at the University of Graz, and Thomas Skledar, who previously worked at Hellmut Habel.
