The company
Elimentary is building AI agents that run the middle- and back-office operations of private capital managers end to end — borrowing base calcs, cracking loan tapes, NAV calculations — starting with structured credit. The company says its agents cut one customer's 20-hour ops process to 30 minutes, saving roughly 90% of manual hours, or about $150k a year.
Private capital AUMs have ballooned over the past decade, but post-investment operations are still run on spreadsheets and email — and things have started to break, leading to write-offs, fines and strained LP relationships. As deployment scales faster than back offices can cope, autonomous agents are a plausible fix for work nobody wants to hire more people to do manually.
The company's thesis is that sourcing and capital deployment get the attention while operations receive 'step-child treatment' — so it's targeting the unglamorous plumbing where errors quietly cost real money. Founded in 2026 by Yogesh Gorjilla, Mannat Saini and Manoj Sarda, and based in New York.
The three-person founding team is building for private capital's operational core, and has already put agents into a live customer workflow with a measurable result. Beyond that, specifics on the team's pedigree aren't disclosed.
