CoreDrift
Freight rate intelligence for flatbed heavy haul.

The company
CoreDrift is a freight rate tool built for open-deck freight — flatbed, step deck, RGN and hotshot, including over-dimensional and overweight loads. Each quote returns a rate range, a confidence level and a state-by-state breakdown of the permits, escorts and other accessorials a load requires.
Open-deck and heavy haul pricing still leans on manual judgement because the accessorials vary by state and by load, and generic rate tools built around van freight do not account for them. CoreDrift integrates into most transportation management systems and pulls in actual paid rates automatically, so pricing updates without manual entry.
The company was founded in 2026 and is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Details on the origin are thin, but CoreDrift says its model is built on nearly two decades of open-deck trucking history, which allows it to quote from day one without an initial data upload.
Founder Vinnie Schleper has worked at Volta Logistics, Access America Transport and Coyote Logistics — brokerage environments where open-deck pricing is a daily problem. That background sits close to the users the product is aimed at.
