The company
Aucert checks mobile app builds before release. It learns a company's app and its standards for compliance, security, design and performance, then a set of specialised AI agents inspects every new build and gives a verdict with evidence.
Aucert targets fintech, ecommerce and health, where quality and compliance are critical, and works across Android, iOS, Kotlin Multiplatform and React Native. Verdicts come with evidence, so teams can ship faster with the checks enforced.
Aucert is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2026 by Vivek Soneja and Rajesh Kumar. It is backed by Y Combinator, Dealroom records $125K in funding, and it is onboarding clients in a private beta.
Vivek Soneja worked on WhatsApp's Android app at Meta, was a founding architect at PhonePe and ran the kind of mobile QA pipelines Aucert automates. Rajesh Kumar spent a decade in PayPal's core payments infrastructure, built Multiplier's global payroll system and holds a US patent related to the problem.
