The company
Ancep builds AI agents that work alongside commercial insurance brokers, from the first client email to the bound risk. The agents structure submission data from any format, select insurers and return comparable quotes for the broker to approve, and build a market view from the data they capture.
Submission data reaches brokers in many formats. Ancep captures and structures it at the source, on top of the systems brokers already use, keeps a broker's sign-off on every decision and logs each action in an audit trail.
Ancep is based in London and was founded in 2026 by chief executive Gagan Khurana and chief technology officer Jake Turner, who previously ran sales and engineering at Scope. It runs single-tenant by default, offers on-premises deployment and works to SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
Gagan Khurana studied at the University of Oxford, worked at McKinsey & Company and Vitt, and founded X26. Jake Turner worked at QuantrolOx and Scope.
