About Tairex

Zijin Zhikang Technology, known as Tairex, is a healthcare technology firm established in September 2024. The company was incubated by Tsinghua University's Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR) and developed from the research of its core team. The project initiator, Liu Yang, is a professor at Tsinghua University's Department of Computer Science and the Executive Dean of the Institute for AI Industry Research. In November 2025, Tairex announced the completion of an angel funding round of nearly 100 million RMB (approximately $13.8 million USD), led by Xinglian Capital with participation from Inno Angel Fund and Shangshi Capital.

The company's core product is the 'Agent Hospital,' a virtual hospital platform powered by large language models (LLMs). This platform simulates a complete healthcare environment with AI-powered doctors, nurses, and patients to create a closed-loop health management system covering pre-hospital, in-hospital, and post-hospital care. The system is designed to provide a training and evaluation environment for AI doctors and a risk-free training ground for human medical students. The AI doctors evolve through a method called MedAgent-Zero, which allows them to learn continuously by interacting with AI patients, analyzing medical literature, and reviewing outcomes. The platform features 42 AI doctors across 21 medical departments and has been tested with over 500,000 simulated patient profiles. It has demonstrated high accuracy rates in medical licensing exam questions, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.

Tairex's business model is centered on leveraging its AI technology to provide accessible and efficient medical services, aiming to address the uneven distribution of healthcare resources. The company plans to launch a public pilot of the Agent Hospital in early 2025, opening it for public use and inviting medical professionals to test the system. The capital from its recent funding is allocated to the research, development, and iteration of the Agent Hospital to facilitate its application in real-world medical scenarios.
