Zappallas, Inc. is a Japanese digital content company primarily focused on the creation and distribution of divination-related media for mobile platforms. Founded in March 2000 as Cyber-Biz Inc., the company changed its name to Zappallas, Inc. in April 2001. It has a long history of acquisitions and divestitures to adapt its business portfolio, including ventures into e-commerce, organic cosmetics, and travel-related businesses, many of which were later sold or liquidated. The company was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Mothers market in May 2005 and later moved to the First Section in February 2009, before transferring to the Standard Market in April 2022.

The company's core business revolves around B2C e-commerce and providing subscription-based content, particularly in the fortune-telling sector, where it established a top market share in Japan by 2004. Zappallas develops and operates its own mobile applications, such as "TAROT READING," and collaborates with over 1,000 fortune-tellers to create its content. The business model is centered on recurring revenue from these digital services. In July 2025, Zappallas was acquired by Hikari Tsushin, Inc., becoming a wholly owned subsidiary. This acquisition aims to create synergies by combining Zappallas's high-margin digital content and mobile advertising expertise with Hikari Tsushin's core telecommunications infrastructure. Before the acquisition, Zappallas reported annual revenue of $28.5 million for the fiscal year 2025.
