Veritus Agent provides a platform for deploying artificial intelligence agents tailored for loan servicing and collections. It helps lenders improve conversion rates, lower servicing costs, and increase recoveries by using AI voice agents for both inbound and outbound communications. The company was founded in 2025 by Joshua March, Joey Stein, and David Schlesinger and is part of the Y Combinator Summer 2025 batch.

The founding team combines extensive experience in entrepreneurship, software engineering, and fintech. Joshua March is a serial entrepreneur and was the CEO of Conversocial, a platform for social media customer service that was acquired by Verint. Joey Stein and David Schlesinger are experienced software engineering leaders who previously worked together at Divvy Homes, a rent-to-own fintech company.

The platform's AI agents are designed to negotiate repayment plans and conduct follow-ups across various channels like voice, SMS, email, and chat without human intervention. These agents are built to be regulation-compliant, configurable to a lender's brand and policies, and operate 24/7 with perfect consistency. Veritus operates on a dual business model: it licenses its platform to lenders and collection agencies, and it is also in the process of getting licensed in all 50 states to operate as a third-party collections and debt-buying entity itself. This approach allows the company to manage the customer experience directly and utilize unique data to train and improve its AI models.
