UNIVITY, formerly Constellation Technologies & Operations, is a French space-tech company founded in 2022 by Charles Delfieux. The company is developing a B2B2C satellite constellation to provide high-speed, low-latency internet access from space, aiming to bridge the digital divide in areas where terrestrial networks are insufficient. Its business model is centered on empowering telecom operators, placing them at the core of the value chain by enabling them to offer space-based connectivity as a complement to their existing terrestrial services.

UNIVITY's technical approach has two main pillars: deploying its satellite constellation in Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO), below 375 km, to ensure minimal latency and a more sustainable use of space, and repurposing telecom operators' terrestrial 5G spectrum for space-based communication. This strategy is designed to offer a high-performance, affordable, and sustainable solution. The company's infrastructure will support a wide range of markets, including residential, enterprise, backhauling, automotive, rail, maritime, and aviation. Products in development include the uniSpark in-orbit technology demonstrator, the uniBox user terminal, and the uniGate ground gateway station.

In October 2024, the company, then known as Constellation Technologies & Operations, secured €9.3 million in a seed funding round led by Expansion Venture Capital and with participation from the French Tech Seed fund managed by Bpifrance. This funding is intended for end-to-end testing of its services and for engineering studies for its first two satellites, which are planned for launch by the end of 2026. The company has since rebranded to UNIVITY to reflect its mission of creating a unified, global space infrastructure that works in synergy with terrestrial networks. It has also entered into a partnership with Telespazio France to test and integrate its technology into Telespazio's service catalog, targeting both civil and defense customers.
