Symbiotic Security builds AI that makes generated code secure by design rather than only scanning after the fact. Founded in 2024 by CEO Jerome Robert and CTO Edouard Viot (combined decades of AppSec and EDR product leadership, including Alsid’s path to Tenable), the company ships Symbiotic Code—a model-agnostic agent that applies company security policies before code is produced, verifies output and offers deep remediation and agentic refactoring inside developer workflows. The platform targets enterprises dealing with vulnerable AI-generated code and works with models such as Claude, DeepSeek and Llama. After a $3 million launch seed from Lerer Hippeau and Axeleo Capital in November 2024, Symbiotic announced a $10 million seed in early 2026 led by Alven (with Drysdale among co-leads/participants) to expand the product and serve Fortune 500 clients.
