About Rein Security
Rein Security is a Tel Aviv– and New York–based application security company founded in 2024 by Unit 8200 alumni Matan Bar Efrat (CEO) and Netanel Rubin (CTO) that brings real-time production context to AppSec. Its patent-pending, agentless platform adds a single line of code to livestream code behaviour, requests, APIs and libraries in production—without proxies or eBPF and with under about one millisecond overhead—so teams can see vulnerability reachability, cut false positives and protect against one-day and zero-day exploitation across API security, SCA and AI-generated apps including Model Context Protocol (MCP) surfaces. Customers cited include Lemonade and HiBob. In January 2026 Rein emerged from stealth with an $8 million seed led by Glilot Capital, with participation from cybersecurity founders including Aqua Security and Talon alumni, to scale production visibility for CISOs and AppSec leaders.
