About Raindrop

Raindrop is a San Francisco applied-AI company that monitors production AI agents for silent failures — wrong answers, lost context, persona drift or stuck loops — that traditional APM and eval suites miss. Founded in 2023 by Ben Hylak, Zubin Koticha and Alexis Gauba (Opyn alumni; Apple HID engineering), Raindrop positions as “Sentry for AI agents,” using adaptive models for alerts, conversation-trace investigation, Deep Search over production data and A/B experiments. In September 2026 Raindrop announced its Series A and about $50 million in total funding led by CRV, with researchers and executives at Anthropic, OpenAI and Thinking Machines, alongside earlier Lightspeed-led seed backers including Figma Ventures, Vercel Ventures and Y Combinator; the company also launched Raindrop Simulations to replay production traffic against agent changes on every PR.
