About Quantum Motion

Quantum Motion is a London-based quantum computing company building fault-tolerant processors using industrial silicon CMOS technology with manufacturing partner GlobalFoundries. In May 2026 it closed a $160 million Series C co-led by DCVC and Kembara, with British Business Bank, Firgun, Oxford Science Enterprises, Inkef, Bosch Ventures, Porsche Automobil Holding SE and Parkwalk Advisors, to commercialise silicon-based quantum systems for standard data-centre racks. Founded in 2017 by Professors John Morton (UCL) and Simon Benjamin (Oxford), the company aims for lower cost, space and energy versus alternative quantum approaches.
