Positron (Positron AI) builds memory-first inference silicon and systems that maximize bandwidth and capacity for large language-model serving, using commodity LPDDR5X instead of scarce HBM/CoWoS. Under CEO Mitesh Agrawal, its first-generation Atlas systems are already deployed at hyperscale (50+ racks at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with partners such as Parasail, Jump Trading and i3d.net). Next-generation Asimov silicon (TSMC N3P tape-out targeted end-2026; production 2H 2027) pairs Positron’s compute with about 288 GB–2,304 GB memory per chip; Titan combines four to eight Asimov chips for very large models and long context. In September 2026 Positron raised $875 million at a $5 billion post-money valuation across a Series C ($375 million at $3.5 billion pre, co-led by NEA, Andra Capital, Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners and SemiAnalysis Capital) and a Series C-1 (up to $500 million led by NEA and Jim Clark)—cite both tranches, not a single invented Series.
