The core of ODD's business is a dual-competency discovery platform that combines generative AI and machine learning with deep expertise in aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase (aaRS) enzymes. This integrated approach is applied to design and develop novel small-molecule therapeutics. Initially focused on creating new antibiotics to combat multi-drug resistant infections, the company has more recently expanded into oncology, targeting unmet needs in lung and colorectal cancers. A recent in vivo mouse study for a colorectal cancer model demonstrated a 60% life extension, showing clear efficacy.

ODD's proprietary technology toolkit includes several key components. Its AI/ML capabilities are used to predict optimized molecular structures and biological activity before synthesis, significantly accelerating the discovery process. The 'EShape™' algorithm captures molecular shape and properties for rapid similarity searching at speeds of one million comparisons per second, mining the firm's curated 'CSpace™' database of approximately 6 million drug-like molecules. Furthermore, the company employs Topological Data Analysis (TDA) to extract unique features from molecules' 3D shapes, enriching its machine learning models.
