A significant milestone was being selected for the CERN Venture Connect program, a first for a Turkish company.

Orbiba Robotics' flagship product is the EcominoS, a versatile and modular field robot. This battery-powered, autonomous vehicle weighs 110 kg and can operate for 6 to 8 hours on a single charge. Its modular design allows it to perform various tasks, including precision weeding, cultivating, seeding, plant health monitoring, and transporting loads. The robot navigates using a sophisticated combination of RTK-GPS for centimeter-level accuracy, LiDAR, and stereo cameras, while its AI-driven computer vision detects crops and obstacles. A key feature is its chemical-free weed management capability, which can utilize technologies like a structured laser beam developed in partnership with CERN. The robot collects field data, which is analyzed to provide farmers with insights on soil health, plant development, and potential disease risks via a mobile app, enabling timely interventions.
