Omnipresent

Omnipresent was a global employment platform that provided technology-enabled business solutions and expertise for hiring international teams. The company was founded in 2019 by Matthew Wilson and Guenther Eisinger. The founders met through the Entrepreneur First program in London and identified a shared passion for solving the complexities of operating multinational businesses. Wilson has a background in physics and technology, having previously co-founded an enterprise software business, Veratrak. Eisinger served in the Austrian Special Forces, leading units in various countries, and later ran his own international business.

The company was established just months before the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated the global shift toward remote work. This timing allowed Omnipresent to address the immediate need for businesses to hire, onboard, and pay employees across different countries while remaining compliant with local laws and regulations. The platform managed administrative tasks such as payroll, benefits, compliance, and taxes. Omnipresent's business model was designed as an Employer of Record (EOR), enabling companies to hire talent in over 150 countries without setting up a local legal entity. The service catered to businesses of all sizes looking to scale their teams globally by handling the complexities of international employment.

In its early stages, Omnipresent secured $2 million in a seed round and later raised a $15.8 million Series A. By 2022, the company had raised a total of $137.8 million, including a $120 million Series B round led by Kinnevik and Tencent, and reported 25x revenue growth in 2021. In October 2025, Omnipresent was acquired by its competitor Deel for approximately $15 million. Following the acquisition, Omnipresent's services and clients were migrated to Deel's platform.
