The company’s core product is the OceanWings® system, a set of fully automated, reefable, and rotatable rigid wingsails that capture wind energy to provide thrust, thereby reducing the load on a vessel's main engines. The patented design features a 'two-flap variable camber' which has proven to deliver significant fuel savings across various operational conditions. The systems are engineered for minimal crew intervention and include a safety feature known as "flag mode," which automatically secures the wings in extreme weather. OceanWings offers a modular product range, including semi-rigid and rigid sails made from durable composite materials, with options like tilting mechanisms to meet air draft clearance and elevator systems for container ships.

OceanWings targets shipowners and operators across multiple segments, including tankers, bulk carriers, Ro-Ro vessels, and cruise ships, offering solutions for both newbuilds and retrofits. The business model is centered on designing, manufacturing, and selling these systems to a market under increasing pressure from rising fuel costs and tightening environmental regulations. A prominent commercial application is the vessel *Canopée*, a cargo ship designed to transport components for the Ariane 6 space rocket. Launched in 2023 and equipped with four 363 m² wingsails, *Canopée* has demonstrated fuel consumption reductions of up to 42% and has achieved 99.6% availability over two years of service. The company has also secured numerous Approvals in Principle (AiP) from major maritime classification societies such as DNV, ClassNK, and Bureau Veritas, validating the system's design and safety for broader industry adoption.
