Modveon is a Palo Alto-based technology company founded in 2025 by CEO Nana Murugesan. The company is developing what it describes as a verified operating system to modernize digital interactions for and between government entities and citizens. Murugesan brings a wealth of relevant experience to Modveon, having held executive positions at prominent technology companies including Coinbase, Matter Labs (developer of the ZKsync network), Snapchat, and Samsung. His background in these sectors informs the company's focus on building a robust, identity-first platform.

Modveon's core product vision is centered on four main pillars: providing verified digital identity as a foundational layer, enabling secure closed-loop communications, offering built-in support for regulated digital payments, and creating automated services to reduce friction in daily interactions. The platform is designed to facilitate verified, closed-loop digital activities at a societal scale, encompassing government-to-citizen services and citizen-to-citizen transactions.

In February 2026, Modveon announced it had raised $10 million in a funding round backed by Coinbase Ventures, Firebolt Ventures, Humla Ventures, and Strategic Cyber Ventures, among other investors. At the time of the announcement, the company stated that initial government deployments were already in progress with commercial agreements in place, indicating early revenue generation. Modveon anticipates a broader launch of its platform later in 2026.
