Kongsberg Ferrotech is a Norwegian subsea robotics company that delivers inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) for underwater energy and maritime infrastructure—using remotely operated robots and in-situ methods such as 3D metal-to-metal printing developed with partners including Equinor, SINTEF and Gassco. Its systems target corrosion and fatigue on offshore wind foundations, subsea cables and oil-and-gas assets so operators can extend asset life and cut costly downtime. In July 2025 Kongsberg Ferrotech raised a €12 million seed led by the NATO Innovation Fund with Investinor to scale the robotic IRM platform for critical undersea infrastructure and dual-use security and energy-resilience missions.
