Jupiter Life Line Hospitals Limited is a multi-specialty tertiary and quaternary healthcare provider operating in densely populated micro-markets in Western India. The company was established in 2007 by Dr. Ajay Thakker, a radiologist who identified a critical gap in high-quality medical facilities in the Thane region. He observed patients traveling long distances to Mumbai for advanced care, which motivated him to create a world-class hospital locally.

The first hospital commenced operations in Thane in 2007. This was followed by expansion into Pune in 2017 and the acquisition of a hospital in Indore in 2020. A significant milestone was achieved in September 2023, when the company went public with an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the BSE and NSE exchanges. The business operates on an "all-hub-no-spoke" model, where each hospital is a full-service institution capable of delivering comprehensive healthcare, from diagnostics to surgery and rehabilitation. The company maintains a diverse payor mix with a low dependence on government schemes, relying more on self-payers and insurance. Jupiter Hospital offers over 30 specializations, including advanced quaternary services like multi-organ transplants, oncology, robotic knee replacement, and cardiology. A key differentiator is its investment in specialized rehabilitation facilities. It operates one of South Asia's first and most advanced Neuro Rehabilitation Centres, featuring robotic and computer-assisted technologies like Amadeo for hand therapy and Lokostation for gait training.
