Izumi Finance generates revenue from fees for cross-chain transactions, setting up incentive pools, and use of its v3Toolbox. A significant portion, 50% of platform revenue, is used to buy back its native IZI token and reward holders of veiZi, the governance token.

Izumi's core products include iZiSwap, LiquidBox, and iZUMi Bond. iZiSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on an innovative Discretized-Liquidity Automated Market Maker (DL-AMM) model. This model departs from the traditional xy=k formula by concentrating liquidity at discrete price points, which mimics the functionality of a centralized exchange's order book and enables non-custodial limit orders with minimal slippage. LiquidBox is a programmable liquidity mining tool that works with Uniswap V3. It allows projects to target liquidity mining rewards to specific price ranges, increasing incentive efficiency and reducing the risk of impermanent loss for providers. The platform also offers fixed-income products through iZUMi Bond and the iUSD stablecoin, providing investors with predictable yields.
