Arcade operates a generative AI-powered marketplace that enables consumers and creators to design and manufacture custom physical products. The platform's revenue model involves taking a percentage of each sale, creating an incentive for users to contribute designs to the marketplace. The company also offers an entrepreneur program for creators and influencers to launch their own product lines without managing inventory or logistics.

Arcade launched its beta in September 2024, initially focusing on jewelry. In its first three months, users generated over 650,000 unique jewelry designs. A significant milestone was achieved in March 2025, when the company announced a $25 million Series A funding round, bringing its total funding to $42 million. This round was led by Canaan Partners and Forerunner Ventures, with participation from existing investors like Reid Hoffman, Sound Ventures (Ashton Kutcher), and Inspired Capital. The new capital is intended to fund the expansion into new product categories and further investment in its AI technologies. Following this, Arcade expanded into home goods, starting with custom-made rugs. A feature called "Magic Match" allows users to upload a photo of a room to receive AI-generated rug designs that complement the space's style and colors.
