ISAAC (ISAAC antisismica) is a Milan deeptech company founded in 2018 from a Politecnico di Milano project by CEO Alberto Bussini and co-founder Anna Impedovo that develops non-invasive Active Mass Damper (AMD) systems for seismic and vibration protection of existing buildings. Roof-mounted electro-mechanical dampers (including Electro-Pro and Tower-Pro lines) sense structural motion and counter-oscillate to protect occupied assets—deployments include San Martino Polyclinic Hospital and the Port of Genoa Control Tower—with design, installation and continuous monitoring as a turnkey lifecycle. In March 2026 ISAAC closed a €14 million round with CDP Venture Capital, 360 Capital Partners (including Fondo Parallelo LV 360), Axon Partners Group, Gruppo Azimut, Ring Capital and NovaCapital, bringing total funding to about €21.7 million to advance technology, talent and market expansion; 2025 turnover was about €9 million.
