Initially bootstrapped as 'Hosting Media', the company aimed to make internet access and website creation available to everyone. It was rebranded as Hostinger in 2011, the same year Arnas Stuopelis joined as CEO. As of 2023, Daugirdas Jankus serves as the CEO, with Arnas Stuopelis acting as the Chairman of the Board. The company is employee-owned and has grown to over 1,000 employees serving more than 4.6 million customers in over 150 countries.
