Holyvolt is a Swedish-German cleantech company founded in 2022 by Mathias Ingvarsson, Hans Victor, and Peter Lilliehöök, developing a proprietary Nanopaste-Printing™ technology for energy generation and storage. Holyvolt's core technology platform combines screen printing with high-throughput material discovery to produce high-performance energy solutions at a lower cost and with a reduced environmental impact. A patent filed in May 2025 details a flexible, lightweight, screen-printed solid-state battery that avoids the use of lithium, cobalt, nickel, and rare earth metals. This technology uses nanoparticles for the cathode and anode materials, which is claimed to improve adhesion and flexibility. The process is designed to be simple, scalable, and less energy-intensive than conventional manufacturing. Potential applications are vast, ranging from consumer electronics and electric vehicles to heated wallpaper and solar-powered blinds.
