About Gaussion
Gaussion is a London deep-tech company (UCL / Faraday Institution spinout) that adds a magnetic “energy intelligence” layer to existing lithium-ion battery packs. Its MagLiB magnetic PCB retrofit and Aeon control chip/software apply an external, dynamically controlled magnetic field during charge and discharge to reduce internal resistance—enabling faster charging and longer cell life without changing battery chemistry or cell design—and targets EVs, aerospace, data centres and consumer electronics. In June 2026 Gaussion raised $28 million co-led by AlbionVC and BGF, with Autotech Ventures, UCL Technology Fund, DN Capital and Future Ventures (Steve Jurvetson), bringing total funding to over $44 million to accelerate commercial deployment across 14 active programmes.
