Exciva is a Heidelberg biopharmaceutical company founded in 2016 that develops therapies for neuropsychiatric conditions using a “Targeted Drug Rescue” approach that repurposes and combines clinically validated compounds. After a €9 million Series A in 2021 (Andera Partners, LBBW Venture, Cure8), Exciva in January 2026 raised a €51 million ($59 million) Series B co-led by Gimv and EQT Life Sciences, with Fountain Healthcare Partners, LifeArc, Modi VC, Carma Fund and Andera Partners returning, to fund Phase II development.
