In June 2022, ESG Book secured $35 million in a Series B funding round led by Energy Impact Partners (EIP), Meridiam, and Allianz X to advance its technology and expand its global footprint. The company is led by CEO Justin Fitzpatrick, a veteran in business software and fintech who previously co-founded companies like FullCircl and DueDil.

The platform integrates data from corporate disclosures, with over 200,000 available, and uses machine learning to scan over 50,000 news sources for real-time controversy monitoring.
