EGI Battery Inc. is an American battery cell manufacturer specializing in advanced semi-solid-state, lithium-ion, and silicon-rich high-performance batteries. Phase I, starting in Q3 2025, will focus on filling and formation, with an annual capacity of 750,000 cells. Subsequent phases in 2026 will add cell stacking, assembly, and eventually slurry mixing and coating, aiming for a total annual capacity of 1.3 million cells. EGI is also pursuing ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifications and aims to have a supply chain that is 95% NDAA-compliant by 2028.

A significant partnership was announced in April 2025 with Mullen Automotive, an electric vehicle manufacturer. This agreement involves manufacturing EGI's SWIFT SSB modules and battery packs at Mullen's facility in Fullerton, California, with production slated to begin in early 2026. This collaboration is intended to reduce supply chain vulnerabilities and address tariff-related costs.
