DeltaX

DeltaX is a South Korean artificial intelligence company founded on September 15, 2020. The company initially focused on computer vision and machine learning research, quickly gaining recognition by winning the 2020 Artificial Intelligence Championship and the Minister of SMEs Award in South Korea. By May 2021, it was selected as one of the country's top 1,000 innovative companies.

The firm has developed two core computer vision products. The first, X-Pilot, is an autonomous driving solution for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Its main feature is a 'Pseudo LiDAR' technology that creates 3D depth maps and enables object detection using only a single camera, offering a cost-effective alternative to expensive LiDAR sensors. The second product, X-Vision, is a comprehensive video analysis technology used for applications like in-cabin smart monitoring, where it can recognize gestures and verify passenger details such as age and behavior.

While continuing to develop its machine vision technology for clients that include major automobile manufacturers, DeltaX has recently expanded its business focus to include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This strategic expansion was supported by a Series B funding round of approximately $23 million in late 2026, intended to finance the construction of BESS production facilities, including a new North American base in Georgia, USA. The company is active globally, having established subsidiaries in China and India and pursuing partnerships like an MOU with SoftBank Group for data center ESS development.
