Datagration Solutions, Inc. operates as a specialized software provider, focusing on delivering data integration, analytics, and workflow automation primarily for the energy sector. Originally founded in 2010 and operating under the name Oilsphere Inc., the Houston-based company rebranded to better reflect its core mission of data aggregation and integration. In September 2024, Datagration was acquired by Weatherford International, a move intended to bolster Weatherford's digital offerings for production and asset optimization.

The company's business model is centered on its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, which can be deployed on the cloud or on-premise. These platforms are designed to unify disparate data from legacy systems, databases, and unstructured documents into a single, collaborative environment. This unification allows clients, which range from super-majors to independent oil and gas operators, to leverage machine learning and advanced analytics for more informed and faster decision-making. The executive team, led by Chairman & CEO Peter Bernard, possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas and enterprise software industries. Bernard, a petroleum engineering graduate, spent 25 years at Halliburton and has a background in private equity, focusing on technology investments before leading Datagration.

Datagration's flagship product is the PetroVisor™ platform. It was developed to enhance operational and capital efficiencies by providing real-time analytics and automated engineering workflows. PetroVisor enables oil and gas companies to optimize asset performance, reduce costs, and improve manpower efficiency by standardizing data and streamlining processes. Key applications within PetroVisor include performance monitoring, artificial lift optimization, and production optimization. A second key offering is EcoVisor™, a platform dedicated to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance management. EcoVisor allows organizations to track, measure, and manage their ESG metrics in real-time, offering features for data aggregation, analytics, and customizable reporting to help companies meet regulatory requirements and sustainability goals. The platform's Unified Data Model (UDM) is a core component that unifies, cleanses, and characterizes data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
